The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self: This Sunday we continued our Christian Education series for adults built around Carl Trueman’s book, “The Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self.” This week we’ll move to the third major section of the book dealing with the impact of Sigmund Freud on our understanding of the self, particularly with regard to sexual identity.
