This Sunday is Pentecost, one of the major Christian feast days of the year so we will suspend our discussion of the Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self and instead talk about what happened on Pentecost Day in Jerusalem. In this class, we’ll discuss Peter’s sermon that same day, recorded in the same chapter, the first sermon ever preached by a believer indwelt by God’s Spirit. You can read it in Acts 2:14-41.
