This Sunday, Bob Carlson will be teaching Christian Ed. He writes “I’ll start with John 1:1 and 1:14, the word. I hope to engage people to think about what it means (together with Hebrews 1:1-3), with a view to thinking about the incarnation in ways both theological and personal. I would like to touch on the Creed and how the language about Jesus’ dual nature is translated and why it might make a difference. There is a lot to think about.”
